Life After Sobriety Group
This group is open and ongoing
Meets Thursdays 5:30 – 7:00pm
The good news is that you are not your addiction.
But you do need support from others to overcome it.
Sure, you can try to get sober on your own. But the problem with doing it alone is that any changes you make will only be temporary.
True recovery starts with building trust and connection with other people.
Whether we like it or not, being human means getting the support and approval of others. Not only does it feel good, it helps us feel good about ourselves.
How on earth could we stay sober otherwise?
At each session, we start with check-ins, discussing the challenges, problems, and successes we’re experiencing. From there, we focus on a specific topic that relates to the addiction and recovery process. Please note that this group is not a 12-Step meeting, but rather, a therapeutic group.
